PREMIER FIBS HER WAY THROUGH LEADERS DEBATE.

Premier Berejiklian has fibbed her way through last nights Leaders debate, confidently asserting facts which are simply not true.

In the interest of truth and balance the Premier must be called out for the lies, Shadow Treasurer, Ryan Park, said.

CLAIM: Premier Berejiklian said the taxpayer spending on Allianz stadium would deliver three times the return on investment.

FACT: The investment into Allianz stadium will deliver no return on investment as it will lose money. It will result in a negative return on investment of 93 cents for every $1 invested.

CLAIM: Premier Berejiklian said she had built 100 new hospitals and hospital facilities.

FACT: The Berejiklian Government has completed one new hospital the privatised Northern Beaches Hospital.

CLAIM: Premier Berejiklian said her Government had already funded public schools to 100% of the Gonski standard.

FACT: Currently the NSW Liberals and Nationals fund just 70.8 per cent of the Federal-state Gonski agreement.

CLAIM: Michael Daley said the Liberals and Nationals cut $20 million from womens domestic violence shelters. Premier Berejiklian said the Liberals and Nationals have not cut funding to womens shelters.

FACT: In 2013-14, $40.4 million was spent on dedicated domestic violence services. A year later, in 2014-15, $20.1 million was spent on dedicated domestic violence services. This forced women fleeing domestic violence situations to use combined shelters with homeless people, youth experiencing mental health issues and other services.

CLAIM: Premier Berejiklian said the NSW Liberals and Nationals inherited the highest unemployment rate in the country from the last Labor Government.

FACT: In the final year of the last Labor Government, NSW had the second lowest unemployment rate in the country.

CLAIM: A toll will extend along the M4 west of Parramatta.

FACT: Premier Berejiklian was forced to issue a correction on Twitter to clarify her toll policy.
